The Sniper Rifle is one of the 20 of weapons that are available in Red Faction: Guerrilla.
Description
The EDF Sniper Rifle is a specialist-issue firearm in the military's elite infantry divisions. The rifle fires a 51mm cartridge and has an effective range of up to 1,000 meters. When used appropriately, it is a one shot, one kill weapon. Although highly effective aginst soft targets, it has limited effectiveness against vehicles and structures. The Sniper Rifle features a laser sight and high-power telescopic sight.
It can be found on most multiplayer maps, usually in hard to find areas. A headshot will kill a target straight away but it would take two shots to the body to kill a enemy unless the firepower backpack is being used.
