Alec Mason is a recent transplant from Earth who's trying to escape a troubled past. When Alec arrived on the red planet, he met up with his brother [[Dan]], a miner, who had promised to hook him up with a mining gig. Alec then finds out that Dan is a member of the newly reformed [[Red Faction(Rebellion)|Red Faction]], a guerrilla group that's fighting against the oppressive rulers of Mars, the [[Earth Defense Force]]. After his brother is suddenly killed by the [[Earth Defense Force|EDF]], Alec is pulled into the [[Red Faction(Rebellion)|Red Faction]] and joins in the fight against the EDF.

Backstory

Alec Mason is a recent transplant from Earth who's trying to escape a troubled past. When Alec arrived on the red planet, he met up with his brother Dan, a miner, who had promised to hook him up with a mining gig.
