Description
The Badlands is a wasteland of jagged rocks, dead settlements, and more. This region is described as "where terraforming went wrong". The Badlands are home to a mysterious group, called Marauders, from the first Red Faction who come out at night. They have been described as "Mad Max". The Earth Defense Force does not like going out here.
Role
The Badlands is one of the regions contained within the martian area of Tharsis. The Ultor corporation may be gone, but it's not forgotten. Deep within The Badlands sit the old Ultor mines and ghosts of the past that aren't willing to go quietly into the night.
