L13S3 opens similarly to L13S1: facing a door that opens into an elevator. This elevator ascends to a door opening into the middle of the ground floor of the Communications Tower. There's a staircase adjacent to the elevator shaft you'll need to fight your way up to reach the console at the apex of the tower. On the way up you'll face several guards blocking your way. Toward the top of the staircase, you'll reach a part of the stairs that has a ceiling with a turret on it. Not too much further from the turret, you'll find a door at the top of the stairs which opens into the room containing the communications console. The console is opposite this door in the middle of the wall. Near a sign that says "Satellite Control", you'll find a button prompt which will load a cutscene showing Parker loading the disk into the console. The cutscene will end with two mercenaries entering the room. You'll have to fight them and several other mercs as you descend the stairs toward the ground floor of the tower. The ground floor has a security booth on one side next to an airlock chamber. The way forward is through this airlock chamber which will be guarded by several lethal mercs. Pressing the button on the otherside of the airlock chamber will load you into [[Missile_Command_Center| L14S1]].

Ultor Communications Tower is the 13th level/chapter in the Red Faction single player campaign. It consists of two individual maps and begins with Parker entering an elevator up to Ultor's Communication's Center. Ultor's Communication Tower is followed by L14:Missile Command Center.

L13S1: Communications Center

L13S1 loads you just past the airlock chamber at the end of L12: Grand Canyon. Straight ahead there will be a door that opens into an elevator that ascends to the entrance of the Comm. Center. Hendrix will message you as you ascend explaining that the console you need to load the disk into is at the top of the Communications Tower. When you open the door to the Comm. Center you'll see a technician walking across the hallway towards a security booth on the left side of the hallway. A few guards will patrol this area so you'll need to deal with them. The security booth has a container with some 5.65mm Assault Rifle ammunition in it. At the end of this initial hallway, there's another door leading to another hallways and open area with a security booth in the middle of the room. As soon as you pass through the door, there's a guard to your left. There will be more guards in this area and in the security booth in the middle of the room. The security booth in the middle of the room has a First Aid cabinet and a container which both have health pickups. The small hallway opposite the entrance to the security booth has an automatic ceiling turret in it. There's also another room adjacent to this area with the security booth that has two large turbines but no pickups.

The way forward is through the small hallway that had the ceiling turret. When you open the door at the end of this hallway, you'll face two Mercenaries behind sandbags. These Mercenaries have Precision Rifles which will be helpful for the enemies you're about to face. Behind these mercs there's a large room where more Mercenaries will filter in from a security booth on the ground level on the left. Hendrix will contact you to warn you about them. Mercenaries are more aggressive and better armed than the guards you've been facing up to now so proceed with caution. In fact, Hendrix will tell you that this Mercs aren't just out for the miners but are also killing guards. If you manage to kill all the mercs who filtered in from the security booth, the booth has a small armory attached containing a Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifles (and therefore ammo for the same), health pickups, and an armor pickup.

The way forward is opposite the security booth which is a small area with two floors populated with mercenaries. The second floor has a door on one side which opens to a hallway with a short staircase leading to a door. As you approach the door, you will lead into L13S2.

L13S3: Communcations Tower

Important Note: The game files do skip from L13S1 to L13S3. There is no L13S2.

Pressing the button on the otherside of the airlock chamber will load you into L14S1.
