Pure Faction is a third party Red Faction anti-cheat, anti-hack, and anti-glitch patch coded entirely in ASM by TrotSkie. It also provides extra security for both servers and clients as well as fixing the infamous nVidia 8 Series bug.

Blocked Cheats

The latest Pure Faction release (Version 3) blocks most cheats available publicly for the game.

Specifics:

Wallhacks: Pure Faction helps prevent wallhacks.
Colorbots: Pure Faction helps prevent colorbots due to the color cycling rail scanner.
Aimbots: There are only two aimbots known to work with Red Faction 1.2, and neither are public. Regardless, Pure Faction blocks both.
Table Cheats: Pure Faction blocks table cheats.
MYTH Trainer: Pure Faction blocks Myth and any other infinte ammo trainers. The server now keeps track of how much ammo each player has and will not let him fire when empty.
Brightskins: Pure Faction blocks brightskins.
