Introduction
Mallus
For too long, we have kept in the shadows. Watching silenty as our home was descerated by non-believers. Watched our families torn apart. Watched our children die. All thanks to one man. Our leader. Our messiah. We are ready to strike. To take back what is ours. To annilhilate our sworn enemy. Adam Hale has shown us true power. My mission is clear. I will not fail. Darius Mason must die.
Dialogue
Darius
How much further to Bastion, S.A.M.?
S.A.M.
Less than a kilometer. What is the plan once we-- Warning. Hostiles detected.
Darius
Great. More bugs.
S.A.M.
Negative. These are human combatants. Darius--I detect numerous Cultist soldiers.
Darius
Just what we needed...
S.A.M.
I disagree. The current state of affairs does not lend itself too--
Darius
S.A.M.... shut up.
Conversations with Mallus
Mallus
Turn on the force fields! Now!
Darius
Aww, dammit...
Mallus
I had hoped you wouldn't make this so easy...
Mallus
A pity.
Darius
Sorry to disappoint.
Mallus
No matter. The result will be the same. Kill him.
Darius
That all you got?
Mallus
If I told you, that would spoil all the fun.
Darius
S.A.M., track down this asshole.
S.A.M.
He's somewhere beyond the force fields.
Darius
Then find the power source so I can shut them down!
Mallus
Hale told me all about you Masons... You heroes of Mars... Warriors for the people... Leaving nothing but death and destruction in your wake. Especially you. The Prodigal Son. I am so far... unimpressed.
Darius
Maybe you just need a closer look.
Mallus
I have a better idea.
Meeting up with Mallus
S.A.M.
Warning! Hostile creatures above.
Darius
Are you out of your mind? They'll kill everything!
Mallus
Only the non-believers.
Darius
How the hell are we getting out, S.A.M.?!
S.A.M.
Damaging enough generators should cause the shield system to short circuit.
Darius
Blow up a lot of crap? I can handle that.
After shields are down
Darius
Shields are down. Let's find that son of a bitch.
Reached falling platform
S.A.M.
Warning. Platform unstable.
Darius
Oh no.
Mallus
Taking the scenic route, are we?
Darius
Keep talking, asshole! Gotta get back up top, S.A.M.!
S.A.M.
One moment...
S.A.M.
Darius, I neglected to mention earlier that the power short has very likely damaged the outer Bastion defenses.
Darius
That's just what Mallus wanted us to do...
S.A.M.
In all likelihood.
Darius
We need to hurry. We can't let them get near Bastion...
S.A.M.
Hostile creatures above.
Mallus Bossfight
Darius
Mallus! Show yourself!
S.A.M.
Warning. Hostile SHIVA detected.
Darius
Ah great...
Mallus
You will not stand in our way any longer. The Masters of Mars will once again take their rightful place on this planet!
After Mallus dies
Mallus
Adam Hale has foreseen it!
Locating generators
Darius
S.A.M., we need to clear this place out and get those generators back online.
S.A.M.
Locating defense generators...
Imminent threat located
S.A.M.
Warning. Imminent threat.
Darius
Really not in the mood for this...
S.A.M.
Hostile creatures below.
After taking down the imminent threat
Darius
That everything?
S.A.M.
Affirmative.
Darius
Good. We have to get to Bastion before it's too late.
