Mount Vogel

Description

Mount Vogel is the seventh sector of Tharsis. It is a barren wasteland filled with abandoned buildings, covered in a sheet of ice. It has no known settlements. There are no guerrilla actions or high value targets (except for a few transporter missions). However, it does serve a purpose as it is also the location of the launch tube for the Nano-forge missile.

Location

Although not marked on the player's map, it is the snowy region to the right of Eos sector. It can only be accessed through EDF Central Command, which means you must have completed most of the game to visit this sector.

Trivia

It is likely this region is a nod to Saints Row 2, which serves, in a way, as a prequel to the Red Faction series. In Saints Row 2 Ultor exists as a super conglomerate that acts as an antagonist throughout it lead by Dane Vogel
