Real Life Mars Info

Mars is the planet used in Red Faction 1 and RFG. Mars also has a reddish brown coler on the surface. The polar Ice caps on Mars sprung the belief of water on mars. Water cannot exist on the surface though due to lack of atmospheric pressure. It is believed that it is possible to Terraform mars by msny scientists. The atmosphere is also made of 95%Co2.

Terraforming Mars

In Red Faction, the world of mars has been terraformed and is already habitable for humans. Same with RF:G. Some belive this is possable by sending water there to cool it down, then sending algae to create some o2. After that we would send people with air tanks and plants to mars to be planted to make enough Oxygen to make mars habitable.

Red Faction is based on mars after it is terraformed and made habitable. There are also marauders which are percieved as what we call martians or aliens but look much like tusken raiders or "sand people" from Star Wars.
