	~~!Under Construction; Description~~ to ~~follow!~~		Assuming you took the left corridor at the end of L18S2, you'll load into a cave corridor which will lead to a metal platform. Continue up the ramps connected to this platform and you'll find a bridge spanning across the large open cave room which is guarded by a merc. Walk across to the other side and descend down one ramp and you'll find a small cave you can jump into. Continue through this cave until you reach its end where there will be some grenades ready to pick up. Jump out of the cave and you'll find yourself behind a defensive wall where two turrets and a Merc with a fusion rocket launcher stand ready to attack anyone who approaches them (from the front). This is why taking the left route at the end of L18S2 is advisable as the forward route puts you directly in their line of fire. Going this way, the turrets and Merc will only shoot if you shoot them first. Instead, head to the large door behind this Merc and press the button on the right wall to open it. Behind this door is a wide, well-lit corridor that leads to a large airlock door. Enter the airlock and press the button on the other side and green gas will start filling the airlock from below. Knowing it's coming doesn't change anything: you have to fall victim to the trap to progress in the game. As the gas fills the room, Parker will eventually pass out before you load into L19S1 in the [[Merc_Command_Center\| Merc Command Center]].

			Depending on which path you took after the ambush on L18S1, you'll continue on facing additional encounters. Along the way, one Merc will have a fusion rocket launcher that can do a lot of damage and even kill you on higher difficulties. Either path eventually leads to the same platform in a large open area where Mercs and guards will shoot at you from a platform on the other side of a canyon. On the wall left of the cave exits you came you'll see a large cave with metal arches. After passing under three of these metal arches, there will be a cave corridor on the left. You can continue forward but the left route is easier. After traversing a small distance in this left cave you'll load into L18S3.

	~~!Under Construction; Description~~ to ~~follow!~~		L18S1 loads in as the game fades from black implying Parker is regaining consciousness after crash landing back on Mars after he destroyed the Space Station. Hendrix will message you to ask if you're still alive and let you know he sent a miner to guide you to the [[Merc_Command_Center\| Merc's base]]. Follow this miner down the natural bridges to the floor of the canyon. The miner will lead you into a cave before being ambushed by a group of mercs. Deal with these mercs then continue down either path. There's a corridor right of the ambush point and one continuing further back into the same cave corridor where the ambush took place. Both paths eventually lead to the same place after loading into L18S2.
